Welcome

Theology shapes culture; culture shapes politics

You've reached the online home of Pat Sawyer. Thanks for checking in. Pat’s work is dedicated to a thoughtful and irenic engagement of the Church and larger society from standpoints that are consistent with Christian epistemology and orthodoxy. Pat has a strong concern for the expansion of both special grace and common grace with an emphasis on loving our neighbors well and seeking the good of the city. As such, Pat’s work unfolds along several lines contributing to a range of societal stakeholders including the academy, the Church, business, and organizations prioritizing social responsibility and human flourishing.

This site exists in large part because of people routinely asking how they can engage and support Pat’s work. If you are here because you want to financially support his efforts, please visit his Patreon page. If Pat can be of any service to you, please don't hesitate to contact us. Given Pat’s background, experiences, resume, and size of network, he is often asked to speak and/or consult on a range of topics. Please see the About page to understand how he might assist you. After some discussion, if Pat feels he can be genuinely helpful he is happy to assist at no cost. Cheers.
